Your privacy
What we do with what you tell us
You are handing over the worst week of your year: photos, medical visits, money problems. Here is who reads it, what we will never do with it, and how to get it deleted. Written the way we would explain it out loud.
- Your answers go to the people reviewing your case. Not to a list of firms.
- Your photos and papers stay yours. We keep copies to do the review.
- We ask permission before we share anything with another law firm.
- We use automated tools to sort and translate.A person makes the decisions.
- You can ask us to delete what you sent.

Who actually sees your answers
Four groups. That is the whole list.
The intake team
The people who answer the texts and the phone. They read what you sent so you do not have to repeat it, and they add the parts that are missing.
The reviewing attorney
Gregory S. Hach, Esq. is the initial attorney reviewer. He reads the whole file, including the parts you thought were small, and decides the next human step.
Support staff who need it
A paralegal or records clerk may open your file to request a report or a medical record. Access is limited to the work in front of them.
Service providers we pay
The companies that host our files, send our texts, and run our phone line. They sign contracts to keep your information private.
Your evidence stays yours
The photo you took at the intersection belongs to you, not to us. We keep a copy so the attorney can review it, we store it the way you sent it, and you can ask for a copy of everything in your file at any time. Sending us a photo does not give us the right to use it for anything except your case check.
We ask before we hand anything over
Some matters need a firm licensed in another state, or a firm that handles that specific kind of case every day. When that happens, you hear about it first, by name.
Depending on the location and type of matter, another law firm may need to assist or handle it. We will identify that firm and ask permission before sharing information.
If you say yes
We send that firm your file and tell you the date and who got it.
If you say no
Nothing moves. Your file stays put, and you can take it anywhere else.
The honest version
Yes, we use automated tools
We use automated tools, and we tell you where they are involved. You should know who or what is on the other end of the conversation.
What the automated part does
- Asks the questions in texts and on the phone.
- Translates between English and Spanish so you do not wait.
- Sorts photos and papers into the right spot in your file.
- Writes a first summary that is labeled unverified until a person checks it.
What it never does
- It does not tell you whether you have a case.
- It does not give legal advice.
- It does not decide whether we take your matter.
- It does not send your answers to another firm.
A person always decides what happens next with your matter. Technology may help keep your answers organized, and some of those tools come from outside providers. Our agreements say those providers cannot use your answers to train their models. Any automated summary stays a draft until a person checks it against what you sent.
Things we will not do
You have probably filled out a form somewhere and then gotten calls from six different numbers for a month. That is not what this is.
- We do not sell your information.
- We do not trade or auction your case to a group of firms.
- We do not put your name, photo, or story in an ad.
- We do not send your answers to another firm before you say yes.
- We do not text you offers for things you did not ask about.
How to have your information deleted
Three steps. You do not need a reason.
Tell us what to delete
Write to the privacy contact below, or say it in a text or on the phone. You can ask for everything, or just the photos, or just one document.
We check that it is you
We confirm the request through the phone number or email you used to reach us. This keeps someone else from deleting your records.
We delete it and tell you what is left
If a file was already opened for you, we may have to keep some records because of legal and bar rules. We will tell you exactly what we kept and why, in plain words.
Privacy contact
A real person handles these
Deletion requests, questions about who saw your file, or a correction to something we wrote down wrong. Send it to the Vetted Cases privacy contact below.
Looking for the legal wording?
The formal privacy policy and the terms of use cover retention periods, state-specific rights, and how to file a complaint.
Now that you know where it goes
Start when you are ready. A licensed attorney reads what you send, and you find out what it means for you.
See what to have readyFree to start. No obligation. Starting a case check does not mean we represent you.
