Vetted Cases

The attorney who reads your case

Gregory S. Hach

Initial attorney reviewer

Every case check sent through Vetted Cases is read by a licensed attorney. This page says who that is, where the license is held, and what the review does.

Starting a case check does not mean we represent you.

Gregory S. Hach

Partner, Hach & Rose, LLP

About Greg

Gregory S. Hach is a partner and co-founder of Hach & Rose, LLP. His practice has focused on personal injury, construction injuries, mass torts, prescription-drug matters, asbestos litigation, and representing members of organized labor.

He grew up in a union family, has been a member of the International Union of Operating Engineers for more than 20 years, and served in the United States Air Force before earning his college and law degrees.

For Vetted Cases, Greg is the initial attorney reviewer. Software organizes what you submit, but Greg reviews the file and decides the next human step. If another law firm may be a better fit, no file is sent until that firm is named and you give permission.

What the initial review covers

These are the matter types open for review today. The list changes. If yours is not here, you can still ask, and we will tell you where it stands.

  • Car, truck, and motorcycle crashes
  • Uber and Lyft crashes
  • People hit while walking or biking
  • Falls on someone else's property
  • Work injuries with a third party involved
  • A death in the family
  • AFFF firefighting foam exposure

Depending on where you live, another law firm may help with your case. We will name that firm and ask you first.

What licensed attorney review means here

Here is what that phrase covers, and what it does not.

Your words come first

The attorney reads what you sent in the order you sent it. Nothing is rewritten before it gets there.

Software sorts, a person decides

Tools put your answers in order and mark what is missing. They do not give legal advice and they do not decide anything.

What the review looks at

Where it happened, what kind of case it is, and which licensed attorney or receiving firm may be able to help.

You get one of three answers

We need more details, a lawyer wants to talk with you about representation, or the firm cannot take this one. Written in plain words, with the reason.

What review is not: reading your answers is not legal advice and not a promise. We represent you only after you sign a written agreement.

Privacy and evidence controls

These rules apply whether we take your case or not.

Who can open your file

The intake team and the reviewing attorney. Access is tied to a named person, not a shared login.

Your photos and papers stay as you sent them

What you text over is kept unchanged. Nothing is cropped, edited, or re-saved, so the date and place stay attached.

Permission before another firm sees it

Depending on where you live, another law firm may help with your case. We will name that firm and ask you first.

You can ask for a copy or a delete

Ask and we send you what you gave us, or we delete it. If a rule makes us keep part of it, we tell you which part and why.

The longer version lives on the privacy page. Your answers are not sold and are not used to follow you around with ads.

The office

A real address you can drive to, and a phone number a person answers. You do not have to come in to start.
