You can tell Vetted Cases what happened online, by text or by phone. Gregory S. Hach, Esq. is the initial attorney reviewer. If another law firm may be a better fit, we tell you its name and ask permission before sending it any information.

The website, text line and phone assistant keep your answers together so they can be read. A licensed attorney makes every legal decision.

This website gives general information and tells you how to start a case check. It is not legal advice, and reading it does not create an attorney-client relationship.

Nothing here tells you that you have a case, what a case is worth, or when a deadline runs. Those are legal judgments and they belong to a licensed attorney who has looked at your facts.

Starting a case check does not mean anyone represents you. Representation begins only when you and a named law firm sign a written agreement.

A case check may end in one of a few ways. We may ask you for more details. An attorney may want to talk with you about representation. Or the reviewing team may tell you it cannot place your matter. You get an answer either way.

Depending on where you live and what kind of case it is, another law firm may need to assist or handle it. We will tell you the name of that firm and ask your permission before we share anything. Any division of fees follows the rules of the state involved and is explained to you in writing.

You can start a case check by filling out the form on this site, or by calling or texting (435) 383-8833. These terms cover all of them.

We answer at the phone number or email address you give us. Anyone who can open that phone or that inbox can read what we send. If you share a device with someone, tell us and we will pick a safer way to reach you.

Send only what is yours to send. When you send us a photo, a report, a bill, or a medical record, you are telling us that you have the right to share it with the firm reviewing your matter.

We keep what you send unchanged and make a working copy for review. We do not promise that a file will be admissible in court or that a formal chain of custody exists.

Please use this website honestly and only for your own matter. Do not do any of the following:

• Send information about someone else without their permission
• Send files that contain viruses or harmful code
• Copy the site, scrape it, or resell what is on it
• Use another person's name, phone number, or documents
• Try to get into parts of the site that are not yours

If you give us a phone number, we may call or text you about your case check. That is a service conversation, not marketing. Message and data rates may apply through your phone plan.

Text STOP at any time to stop messages. Text HELP for help. Calls may be recorded, and you will hear that said at the beginning of the call. The text message terms have the full details.

Automated tools help sort your answers, pull out key facts, translate between English and Spanish, and point out what is missing. They label their own summaries as unverified.

These tools do not give legal advice and do not accept or turn down a matter. A licensed attorney makes every legal decision.

Some pages link to outside websites, like a state agency or a police department. We do not control those pages and we are not responsible for what they say or how they handle your information.

We work to keep this site accurate and available, and sometimes it will be down or a page will be wrong. To the extent the law allows, Vetted Cases and its service providers are not responsible for losses that come from using this website or from a delay in reaching us here.

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the effective date at the top of this page. If a change matters to people who already started a case check, we will say so directly instead of only posting it here.

Applicable law governs these terms. Nothing here takes away a right you have under the consumer laws of the state where you live.
