Vetted Cases

Ways to start

Three ways in. The same review.

The form, a text, or a phone call. They all reach the same three steps and the same licensed attorney. There is also a panel of plain answers if you want to know more first.

Starting a case check does not mean we represent you.

A person's hands texting on a phone at night

Text the same number you can call. Answer when you have a minute, and text photos over whenever you find them.

Side by side

No option is better than another. Pick whichever is easiest for you.

The form

What it is like
You type your answers at your own pace. Short questions, one screen at a time.
How long it takes
5 to 10 minutes
Good when
You would rather type your answers than say them out loud.
What you need
A phone or computer. Nothing to print, nothing to download.

The questions panel

What it is like
A small panel with plain answers to common questions. Cost, timing, and who reads your case. It does not take your story.
How long it takes
A minute to read
Good when
You want to know how it works before you tell anyone anything.
What you need
Just this page. The panel opens in the corner.
Open the questions

This panel needs JavaScript to open. You can call or text any time.

A text message

What it is like
Text the same number you can call. Answer when you have a minute, at lunch, on the bus, after the kids are down. A long story can take more than one text.
How long it takes
A few minutes at a time
Good when
You are at work, in the hospital, or you cannot talk out loud.
What you need
Your phone. Message and data rates may apply.

A phone call

What it is like
You talk and someone writes it down for you. English or Spanish. A long story can take more than one call.
How long it takes
About 10 minutes
Good when
Typing is hard, your eyes hurt, or you would rather explain it out loud.
What you need
Nothing. Call and start talking.

Texting works with the same number you can call: (435) 383-8833. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to stop, or HELP for help.

Every way reaches the same review

The three steps are the same no matter how you reach us. Start on the phone at the hospital, and text photos over that night. A long case can run over more than one call.

One review, by one attorney

Text and call both reach the same three steps and the same licensed attorney. Nobody makes you tell the story twice in one sitting.

A person makes the decision

Automated tools sort what you send and write a summary marked as unverified. They give no legal advice. A licensed attorney reads it and answers you.

A long case can take more than one call

A death in the family or years of exposure takes longer. You can call back, and you can text photos over whenever you find them.

About the automated help

The questions panel, the texts, and the phone assistant are automated. They say so when they greet you. They sort what you send and write a summary that is labeled as unverified. They do not give legal advice and they do not decide anything about your case. Ask for a person at any time and you get one.

Nobody gets stuck

People start a case check from a hospital bed, a job site, a bus, or a kitchen table at 2 in the morning. The way in should not be the hard part.

Call or text (435) 383-8833
A text or a call, your choice
You are not locked into one way. Text some of it and call for the rest, in whatever order is easiest.
Someone can help you answer
A spouse, an adult child, a friend, or anyone allowed to act for you can go through the questions with you. Just tell us their name.
Talk instead of type
If reading a screen is hard, call and someone will read the questions to you and write down your answers.
English and Spanish, all the way through
Texting and the phone line both work in English and Spanish. Say which one you want and we stay in it.
English and Spanish Text or call, your choice Free to start

Pick one and go.

It is free to start and there is no obligation. Start by text or by call, and you can switch between them whenever it is easier.
